Amazing night, with chikkens, sausages, paneer, whiskey, vodka sutta and few trips... Guess why?? We had a Barbecue!! Yeah on the terrace of our wing. It all started with an idea popped up on sheels' tiny brain in a lazy afternoon. As myself and jeet are leaving insti tommorow so all of us planned to have a last treat to be a memorable one. Yeah this celebration was truly unique and special to me, probably the last @ IIT.
The mastermind of sheel, well executed by him, kalpesh and immo. kudos to y'll.
In the evening Shontu, Ady, Chikkoo, Jeet and myself had 2-3 pegs of alcohol. Meanwhile we also chopped few tomatoes, onions and also marinated the raw chikken, as per the advice from adys' mother.
Sheel and Immo was already onto their chef mode. Immo set the fire with a lot of patience, and that almost gave him a heat stroke. Wid some hiccups we were able to roast most of them. The smell of the chikkens on the plate tempted me to taste it. And uummm watt a piece it was, the plate finished wid me craving for more of it. A geesu non-veggie turned into total non-veg lover.
It was an experiece of a time to cook the way our foreathers did. It was a picturesque view while lighting the fire, me blowing the wind for coals to catch some fire, others pouring vodka for combustion, all around trying to save themselve from chingaari.
Roti and roasted paneer with tinch of salt and lemon tasted delicious. uuah can I 've some more. The ambience added the essence to the whole celebration. Dark sky wid stars twinkling and moon peeping through the clouds, mild wind breezing away with large bats circling. All these gave us a thrill of being in a jungle.
I must thanks a lot to immo for giving us such a wonderful night.
Barbecue is a must fortnightly atleast, try it or believe me. :)
